Zen Garden Mission 1 (Part 12/Final)
The towering golem, with all the slowness it had before, began to raise its arm over its head.
"Wabi!" cried Sabi, looking on in horror and desperation.
A bright flash came from over the giant's head; the flames sparking to life on its fist.
"Move, Wabi! Move!" Sabi yelled, unable to move without coming into range of the hulk's swing.
Wabi only looked at Sabi unseeingly. No response. Then, suddenly, she started to hover backwards, away from the golem's range of attack by a great margin.
Sabi sighed in relief, leaning back in her aqueous enclosure.
With a hiss, the giant's fist was put out, the offending arm coming back to the golem's si

This time, the colossus’s six eyes noticed Wabi straight away, leering at her menacingly. With great weight, the hulk raised its right arm over its head. Reaching the apex of its swing, the three fingers that made up the giant's fist flashed a bright orange, flames engulfing them. With the same alarming speed as before, the golem slammed its arm down at Wabi, cratering upon impact with the ground.
Dust and debris flew every which way, sending up a cloud of filth around the site of impact. The sound of falling rocks, pattering as they hit the ground, filled the now quiet air.
Still, there came a radiant purple glow from within the clou

Fresh air. Noise. Pain.
Wabi could feel the world in her lungs as she breathed inwards, the grand expanse of the universe closing itself off from her. She felt her skin; her fingers; her blood pumping through her veins. The warmth of her muscles returned. By degrees, she could feel control of her body come back to her. She felt alive again.
"Oh no. No no no, please, why?" came Sabi's voice from the blackness, indistinct as if it was coming from the bottom of a well. It echoed and reverberated from all directions, with no discernible source. It swelled up, becoming louder and louder until it almost exploded in Wabi's ears.
Wabi's eyes shot

"Wabi! Help! I need help! I need you here! Please!" Wabi could feel the raw fear in Sabi's heart, frantic.
Wabi could feel her sinuses clear in alarm, taking a deep breath reflexively. She blinked out of her tears and once again started to float down the path as fast as she could. "I'm on my way! Alright? I'm on my way!" The grass to her sides flew on by as she hovered down the road, pressed flat by the heavy winds. Between her floating and the gale, the rain flew against her body, stinging as she pressed onwards. The sun had almost set, leaving the path ahead almost invisible save for the glow of Wabi's aura. The wind howled in her ears,

The wind began to howl as the sun set over the island, the beginning flecks of rain touching the ground. The trees and their long leaves bent far forward in the gale, trying their best not to simply snap and splinter. There wasn't a soul in sight save for one pig and one fish, slightly smaller than you might remember them.
"Sabi, do you see him?" Wabi looked around the darkness, seeing nothing but the tropical treeline and the sharp cliffs that led to the amber-hued sea.
Sabi, quite some distance above Wabi, looked down from her aquatic perch, also tinged orange by the sunset. "No. No, I don't see him from up here. I don't see anything from

The scene around the giant was frantic.
The pair's view of it, obstructed by the refraction of the afternoon's sunshine on the golden centerpiece on the titan's headless body, was only occasionally broken up with the silhouettes of flying Pokemon as they circled the colossus.
It was a war on all fronts with lines and lines of monsters positioning themselves in the towering hulk's path, all sending an impressive swath of abilities and projectiles -- all to no effect. Above them were a variety of fliers of all sizes and wingspans doing the same in a wide orbit around the living wall, none of which having any luck in damaging the five story ti

"Hey, civvies can't be around here, it's dangerous!" chirped the Haxorus, seemingly unaware how his towering body may intimidate the pair. "You should get out of here while the guilds handle the mess!"
"Hmm, yes," came the sultry voice of the Leafeon, seemingly comfortable on her razor sharp lookout. "It'd be a darned shame if you," she paused, looking at the pair's wrinkles and scars, "if you...fabulous pair were to get a scratch on yourselves now, hmm?" She poked at one of the bobs hanging off of her partner's hat.
Sabi was able to answer first. She poked out of her bubble and spoke with authority, "We are here to solve this problem you a

It was high noon. The streets were barren. The crowded buildings of Andalusst loomed silently over Wabi and Sabi.
Where many Pokemon had crowded and walked just yesterday, laid nothing but dirt and pavement. Folks who had been going on with their day had up and just dropped with whatever activity they were doing, almost literally. Scattered around were piles of food and other items of unknown value, simply strewn about. These were classic signs the pair were used to. It didn't make them feel more at ease.
"Reminds you of old Serenity, huh?" Sabi said solemnly as she poked out her tattered visage out of her bubble, doing anything to cut the
